APR's cat-back exhaust for the 2015-2017 (pre-facelift) MK7 VW Golf R upgrades the look, sound and performance of the car. It is hand-built from T304 stainless steel with TIG welding throughout. Straight-through brushed mufflers give a deep growl without adding restriction, and a Helmholtz resonator cancels unwanted drone frequencies. A cast 3" to quad 2.5" rear splitter keeps flow smooth, and cast valve housings accept the factory electronic valve actuators, so OEM valve operation is retained. Removable 4" polished slash-cut tips finish the system with a motorsport-inspired look, with no weight increase over stock.
